It is used in combination with the Care Call Pager Unit or Care Call SignWave Portable Receiver Unit - sold separately. If an alert is triggered at night, such as the movement monitor or the key fob being pressed to request assistance the vibrating pillow pad alerts to wake even the heaviest sleeper.
