The Emergency Alarm is a wall-mounted, battery-operated panic alarm giving the resident a fixed point from which they can activate a powerful (120 decibels) siren using a ripcord.
Designed with a bright red casing, panic alarms like these are clearly visible in an emergency. The alarm is simple to install and comes with a convenient on/off switch and a flashing LED light to indicate that the device is armed.
In an emergency situation the alarm is activated by pulling the ripcord firmly downwards. The alarm remains active until cancelled. Ideal as a panic button for the elderly, the alarm provides peace of mind that it can be activated to not only deter bogus callers if the resident feels threatened, but also to summon assistance in a bathroom or bedroom if a problem occurs.
It can also be detached from it’s mounting and used as a traditional personal alarm.
