Part of the Silent Alert Personal Paging System that allows people who are deaf, deaf blind or hard of hearing to live their lives with confidence, this Movement Monitor forms an integral part to the home care arrangements for vulnerable people, people with dementia who may wander, or a young child.

This wireless occupancy sensor has an integral passive infrared detector that signals the carer's pager or signwave unit, or vibrating pillow pad if alerted at night (sold separately) automatically when the sensor is triggered. The monitor can be angled to cover a specific room or staircase, but allow free passage to other rooms without activating the sensor.

The monitor can be located low down at the bedside to act as a bed leaving alarm where a pressure pad would not be appropriate.

Occupancy sensors like these are easy to set up and run from a mains power supply, operating over a 100m and 500m range (in open air).
