This compact vibrating radio pager for deaf people forms part of the market leading Silent Alert SA3000 Paging System. The pager is clipped to the belt, placed in a pocket or worn on a neck cord. When a signal is received from one of a number of alerting options the Pager will vibrate and illuminate the appropriate symbol on the keypad.
A unique vibration pattern for each key, the Surekey Interactive Keypad and the addition of Braille labelling makes this listening equipment system accessible to deafblind users. Hearing aids like these need to be used with either a Trickle Charger or Alarm Clock Charger, for charging and a Vibrating Pillow Pad to wake the user at night.
The Unit can be used to alert users to a range of events, including activation of the doorbell, door entry, a ringing landline telephone or mobile, the sounding of certain alarms such as baby monitors, smoke or carbon monoxide alarms and car or home security systems. Carer options include a chair leaving alarm, movement or door monitors, emergency person to person key fob and under carpet pressure pad.
Also available In high contrast yellow, this deaf equipment system features a digital radio and integral rechargeable battery. For use inside and outside, it has dual range (100m indoors and 500m in open air). As with all hearing aids, it is also VAT exempt for people with hearing loss.
