Movement sensors are integral to the home care of vulnerable people and people with dementia.
The Mini Magnetic Door Monitor forms part of the market leading Care Call system for carers. The monitor acts as a door sensor and signals the carer's pager or signwave unit (sold separately) automatically when a door is opened.
Occupancy sensors like these are simple to set up and are battery operated, offering a 100m and 500m range (in open air). The unit requires a 9 volt battery (not included).
A number of sensors can be used with the Care Call Pager or Signwave Portable Receiver Unit, including an Emergency Key Fob Pendant (with fall alarm option), Chair Leaving Alarm, Under Carpet Pressure Pad and Movement Sensor. Up to twelve areas can be monitored on one Signwave Unit or Vibrating Pager, allowing you to offer an instant response and improve the chances of a preventative intervention.
