This 2 way Memo Minder is designed to help combat all types of door step crimes including sneak in, following people in, bogus callers and distraction burglaries.
Memory aids like this work by detecting movement near the front door and playing one of two messages: either a reminder of what a person should do before opening the door to a stranger, or a reminder to lock the door when leaving or entering the property or answering the door. It simply attaches to the wall near a door using the screws provided.
The 2 way Memo Minder is particularly suitable for vulnerable people such as those living on their own with dementia or learning disabilities. These memory reminders provide peace of mind and additional reassurance for informal carers or relatives of the elderly. Upon detection of movement, the Memo Minder plays a pre-recorded message, featuring the familiar voice of their relative or carer. The detection range can be controlled and the Memo Minder is operated by 4 x AA batteries which are supplied.
